lamborghini museum - sant’agata bolognese, it - 2026

This project presents a transformative lighting strategy for the museum’s collection, marking a definitive shift from purely functional illumination to a sophisticated, scenographic atmosphere. Our primary vision was to celebrate the sculptural form and heritage of each vehicle, ensuring that the lighting serves as a silent narrator for the exhibition.

By establishing a deliberate visual hierarchy, we have introduced a powerful contrast between the exhibited objects and the surrounding architectural shell. This approach ensures the cars remain the undisputed protagonists of the space, while a new layer of atmospheric flexibility allows the gallery to transition seamlessly between daytime public tours, intimate evening viewings, and high-profile private events.

Sustainability and precision sit at the heart of this intervention. our philosophy is to have light only where needed, concentrating the luminous flux strictly onto the exhibits, and eliminating redundant spill light in circulation areas. The result is a dramatic reduction in energy consumption and a heightened sense of focus that directs the eye exactly where the design intent lies.
